I trained as an architect in São Paulo. Then I sold the car and bought a one-way ticket to Australia, no plan past the landing. That was 2017. Since then: two layoffs, a breakup mid-trip, a bike accident that needed surgery, a year I didn't expect running my father's factory. Every time, I went back to moving before I was fully recovered, fully funded, or fully ready — because I learned that waiting for ready meant never leaving the seat. Runway, Unready is what I built instead of a plan for feeling ready: a system for surviving unready long enough to figure out the rest in the air.
Not born ready. Going anyway.
